Kathy Schultz:
It is both fun and gratifying to watch the students blossom. They find strengths and skills within themselves, employ those skills while working with others towards a common goal and see their efforts come to fruition. A teacher's dream scenario.
Kathy Sullivan:
"The vision for Career Tools was driven by a response to the Vocational Education Advisory Boards expressing a concern that while our students had great technical skills, employers found the newly hired students often lacking in the workplace "soft skills". As part of the early planning team for these courses, it has been inspiring to see our students blossom; becoming self assured and confident with the skills they have gained. Additionally, many students keep in touch, sharing their career successes."
Adrienne Seegers:
"Teaching Tools II is always a journey. I really enjoy working closely with a small group of students as they make discoveries about themselves, their career, and their education.
I always learn a lot."
